107年久合一選舉即將來臨，各個參選者都使勁全力在拜票、掃街，選舉、投票權都是前人努力為我們爭取來的公民權，不論你支持誰，都要去投票唷！

 

．政黨：party

例句：The party has/have just elected a new leader.

該黨剛選出了一名新領袖。

*Party的意思頗為廣泛,我們最常使用在”派對”、”狂歡”但在政治內就為”政黨”的意思~

 

．提名：nomination

例句：There have been two nominations for the new job.

這項新工作有兩位提名人選。

 

．民意調查：poll

例句：The latest opinion poll puts the Democrats in the lead.

最新的一項民意調查顯示民主黨領先。

投票處the polls

* go to the polls= to vote投票

例句：The country will go to the polls on 13 September.

該國將於9月13日舉行投票。

 

．選票(n.)、投票(v.)：ballot

例句：They decided to hold a ballot.

他們決定組織一次無記名投票。

*投票箱：ballot box

 

．拜票：solicit votes

．掃街：sweep street

例句：Due to the upcoming election, many candidates try their best to sweep street and solicit votes every day.

由於選舉即將到來，許多候選人每天都盡他們所能地掃街拜票。
