老師 這題是題本的第115題，這是正確答案我沒有問題，問題是你在上課有提到可以補出動詞在畫線最後變成 civilizations "did"，也是對的....但是...後來你下堂課又說到另一個句子 "People in Taiwan consume more than twice as much paper per people as they "did" ten years ago. 裡面的did是錯的，應該改成consumed. 我有點困惑=_=

不對，它是現在式，怎會是DID過去式的先行詞。懂了嗎！

這回答真的是康康老師留的嗎？ 解釋的思路很匪夷所思...... 原句留個 did 是正確的。 "People...consume...paper (now)" 比上 "people consumed paper ten years ago"，寫在後半的子句可以使用替代詞合理精簡，所以對應位置上的 people 以 they 替代，consumed 以助動詞 did 替代。
