範文
People with growing age have both their mentality and vitality diminished, which are transformed into the success and prosperity of not only themselves, their family in a smaller picture, also the nation in a collective pattern. Also, in the fairy tales which also reflects a ring of truth in the reality, the old people with the snowy long beard usually stands for the representative of wisdom to whom the inexperienced young usually play the role of pupils or students. When it comes to whether studying and learning new things are more important for the younger or the older which are often seen in extreme ways as the debilitate or the wise, I side with the argument that the importance for the older people are comparable to that of the younger people.
First, studying and learning new things benefit the stability of the elder’s job. Usually the majority of the older have shouldered the primary responsibility of the family, to be specific, they have to afford for most of the family financial expense, meaning that once they lose their job, the living quality of the whole family would take a plummet since each penny would have to be placed cautiously at that time. Therefore, the good brought by studying and learning new things for the older people cannot be debased since they will be fitted with latest working skills and trends and thus, they could constantly meet with the most updated working requirements, contributing to the company, so that the foregoing deadlock due to the loss of income could be avoided. On the contrary, though the job stability for the younger people is not ignorable either, its importance drops down several grades since they might be still not economically independent and the loss of job for a certain period will not crush their lives, or spread intensive negative effects to their family.
In addition, studying and learning new things enhance the living quality of the elder’s family. Having left from parents and even having their own children, the older people are taking the principal role caring for the lives of all the members. The daily work includes but not limits to focusing on the meals, clothing, daily groceries and electrical utilities at home. However, the information regarding various commodities could be overwhelming that unideal decisions usually issue from the lack of knowledge to the new things developed rapidly through time. For instance, the older people have to learn about the nutrition of a wide range of food in order to make a wise match to maintain the healthy diets for the family, and they have to learn about the brands and the meanings behind each parameter in the introduction before they can choose the better electrical products for extended use. Conversely, though learning about the new products would do no harm, it is not as emergent since they have not been handed with the main role for decision-making and the issues at school could be more important.
To conclude, I agree with the statement that it is as important for the older to study and learn new things as it is for the younger since the elder’s job stability and the living quality of their family could be assured. (538words)
