語言是相通的，真的如此嗎？來看看這些“神同步”的中英文意思吧~

 1. Blood is thicker than water.

是不是好直白的“血濃於水”！英文中文真就是一樣的呦~

 2. Be able to do something in your sleep.

“我閉著眼睛也能…”。

例如： I haven't done many portraits, but I could paint landscapes in my sleep.

我畫的肖像畫不多，但是我閉著眼睛也能畫風景畫。

 3. Have money to burn

好野人說“燒錢”，英文裡也用了burn哦。“錢多到拿來燒”那“花錢如流水”用英文呢？對了，就是spend money like water.

 4. keep somebody at arm's length

“保持一臂的距離”就是保持一段距離。

例如： He keeps all his clients at arm's length.

他和所有的客户都保持距離。

 5. (in) black and white

有兩種意思

(一)In a way that makes people or things seem completely bad or good, or completely right or wrong.

我們在評論是非對錯的時候，可能會聽到有人說“不分黑白”。英文里也用黑和白來指好跟壞，對和錯

例如： It's a complex issue, but he only sees it in black and white.

這是個複雜的問題，但是他只是非黑即白地來看他。

(二)In writing or in print

中文裡，尤其是在電視劇裡，每次遇到“簽字畫押”的情節，總能聽到“白纸黑字”是不是？英文裡也有對應的含意。

例如： I never thought they'd put it in black and white on the front page.

我沒想到他們會把這白纸黑字地印在頭版上。

 6. Shut / close your eyes to something

“對……視而不見”，差不多就是這個意思。

 You can't just close your eyes to his violence.

你不能對他的暴力行為視而不見。

They seem intent on shutting their eyes to the problems of pollution.

他們似乎打算對污染問題視而不見。
