英語裡有許多非常好玩的單詞。它們的詞意和表明上看起來的完全沒有關係。都有哪些個怪詞，讓我們趕快來瞧一瞧。

流沙其實流得很慢；拳擊台是方形的；天竺鼠的老家不是幾內亞，長相和豬屬於兩種型。

❖ How can a slim chance and a fat chance be the same, while a wise man and a wise guy are opposites?
slim 和fat意思相反，接“chance”，都是“機會渺茫”;“man”和“guy”的意思相近，但是“wise man”和“wise guy”的意思就不一樣了呢?
❖ How can overlook and oversee be opposites, while quite a lot and quite a few are alike?
Look和see是近義詞，但oversee監視，overlook意思怎麼就是忽視呢；A lot和a few是反義詞，但與quite連用，怎麼都表示很多的意思呢！
❖ When the stars are out, they are visible, but when the lights are out, they are invisible。
星星出來了，我們能看到它們；燈滅了，我們就什麼也看不見了。
❖ When you wind up your watch, you start it, but when you wind up an essay, you end it !
